The short version
We never sell your data, and we never run ads. UniFi connects to your accounts read-only through trusted aggregators so we can show you a clear picture of your money — nothing more.
What we collect
- Account details you provide (name, email, household members).
- Financial data you choose to connect — balances, transactions, and holdings — retrieved read-only via Plaid and similar providers.
- Usage data (pages viewed, features used) to improve the product, collected with privacy-friendly analytics.
How we use it
To run UniFi for you: showing your accounts, budgets, goals, cash flow, and giving; powering Solomon, the in-app advisor; and improving the product. We do not use your financial data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
How it's protected
Connections are read-only — UniFi can never move your money. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to what's needed to operate the service.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that make UniFi work (e.g. our hosting, database, bank-aggregation, and email providers), under contracts that restrict their use of it. We'll disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
You can disconnect any account, export your data, or delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your personal and financial data from our active systems.
