Getting started
How do I set up UniFi?
Create an account and the two-minute setup walks you through it: set your giving first, connect your accounts, sketch your budget, and pick your first goal. You can skip any step and return later.
How do I connect my bank?
From the Accounts screen, choose Add account. Connections run through Plaid, are read-only, and UniFi can never move your money. You can disconnect any institution at any time from the same screen.
Can my spouse use it too?
Yes — your household is one plan. Invite your spouse from Settings; there's no extra seat fee.
Giving & budgeting
Why does the budget start with giving?
Because order is the point: generosity comes off the top, before bills and spending. You choose the percentage — the budget builds everything else around it.
What if I go over my giving plan?
Giving above plan is never flagged as a problem. UniFi treats generosity beyond your goal as a win, not an overage.
Plans & billing
How does the free trial work?
Your first 7 days are free — no card required to start. If UniFi isn't for you, walk away and pay nothing.
What's the refund policy?
Every paid plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. Email support and we'll make it right — no forms, no hoops.
How do I cancel?
From Settings, any time. Your data stays exportable, and you can delete it entirely whenever you choose.
Security & your data
Is my financial data safe?
Connections are read-only, credentials are envelope-encrypted and never touch your browser, and your data is never sold or used for ads. The full picture is on the security page.
How do I export or delete my data?
Email privacy@uunifi.com from your account email and we'll handle export, correction, or full deletion. Details in the privacy policy.
